DCE were selected to install a new dust extraction system to control cast iron grinding dust generated from a new “state of the art” Clansman Dynamic robotic grinding cell.
The new system comprised of a DCE Tornado Xcell reverse jet high-performance cartridge filter unit offering 24 hour per day 7 day per week operation with low emission levels.
DCE provided a turnkey key project from system design, manufacture of the dust collector to installation of the plant and associated electrics.
The 20,000m3/hr system was upgraded from standard to achieve low noise levels from the fan and pulse jet cleaning.
